CATCHPLAY+ automatically adjusts video quality based on your device’s capabilities and network speed, ensuring the best watching experience.

If you prefer to customize data usage settings, you can do so manually. Please note that adjusting data usage will affect video quality. Here’s how you can modify these settings:

Steps to Adjust Video Quality

  1. Open the CATCHPLAY+ APP

  2. Tap the [ ] icon in the top-left corner

  3. Go to "Settings"

  4. Select "Video Quality"

  5. Choose your preferred mode:

    • Auto: Automatically provides the best possible video quality based on your current network speed, ensuring a smooth and seamless viewing experience.

    • Data Saver: Reduces data usage to approximately 0.6 GB per hour by lowering video quality while maintaining smooth playback.

Important Notes

  1. "Auto Mode" is the default setting, so any adjustments must be made manually.

  2. If you’re logged into multiple devices, you’ll need to set the preferred quality mode on each device individually.

  3. Logging out will reset the quality settings on that device to the default "Auto Mode".

  4. This feature is currently available only on mobile devices (e.g., smartphones and tablets) using the app. Other devices do not yet support quality preference settings.
